Sun Splash Receives National Award

Honolulu, HI Tanning Salon Distinguished As One of the Nation’s Top Tanning Facilities

Honolulu, HI (February, 2009) – For the 4th year in a row and for the last year before this award is discontinued, LOOKING FIT® Magazine, a national trade publication supporting the indoor tanning industry, has named Sun Sun Splash Tans one of the Top 250 salons in the nation out of more than 25,000 freestanding tanning salons in the U.S. This award places Sun Splash in the top 1% in the nation, a recognition that Sun Splash’s owner, Marc Rapoza, says is, “Something we’re very honored to receive.”

From 2000 until 2009, Looking Fit’s editors have worked diligently to identify the Top 250 indoor tanning salons in the industry, though Sun Splash Tans is the only Hawaii salon to have ever received the prestigious award. Published in the February, 2009 issue of LOOKING FIT; this award identifies Sun Splash Tans as one of the most innovative, dynamic and fastest-growing indoor tanning salons in North America.

According to Looking Fit magazine, the success of the salons chosen for this prominent recognition can be attributed to a number of factors including: professionalism, commitment to education, superior customer service, and keeping the the welfare of customers in mind.
